Student Council meets on a weekly basis to address student issues, maintain organized committees and guide student initiated events. Voted in by the student body, the Student Council is also joined by elected Class representatives for each program at the DCEC.

Fundraising Committee
The students of the Digby Community Education Centre are very active in raising funds to cover the cost of yearbook production, equipment for the school, as well as all costs associated with the Graduation each year. They have been major contributors in refurbishing the kitchen, renovating for the DCEC library, property beautification projects and many other school projects.
