My name is Victoria Weir and I’m the new C@p intern here at the Digby Career Resource Center. I am very excited to be here, and I have a lot of ideas for workshops and tutorials that I am going to be holding over the summer.
Every Thursday starting June 17th there will be two One-On-One Tutorial timeslots available for you to sign up for; 10:30-11:30 AM or 2:30-3:30 PM.You can get assistance with whatever you require assistance with such as using the Internet/setting up and using your personal e-mail account or learning about computer basics. Registration is required for this tutorial; To Register please call (902)245-7540 and please state what it is you need help with.
Some of the upcoming workshops include introduction to Facebook & Security Settings, Photo Story Tutorial, Computer Basics, Introduction to the Internet/Email, Open Office open-source software, Microsoft Word,Photo Editing and how to use Kijiji for online buying and selling.
