Thursday, June 11th, 2009

This summer at the CRC we will continue to offer some of our regular free workshops along with some new ones.

Where are the jobs: This workshop will help participants identify their interests, skills and also identify what skills employers are looking for. It will give ideas on how to apply for jobs, do job search and to identify barriers, as well as how to find jobs and network.

Ace Your Interview: Regardless of whether or not you’ve ever had to do an interview, when you leave this workshop you will feel better prepared for your next one. This session is informal and flexible which means that it can be adjusted to participant’s needs.

Preschool to Primary

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

There is always a lot on the go at Learning Grove, and June is no exception. We are busy preparing for our preschool graduation. Thirteen children will soon leave Learning Grove and start a new journey………..grade primary. Preschool graduation is a wonderful celebration of the milestones the children have reached to this point in their lives. The milestones and “firsts” do not stop here! They will go on to many exciting opportunities and challenges. We hope that they will continue to think for themselves, ask lots of questions, and embrace each other’s differences.
