This summer at the CRC we will continue to offer some of our regular free workshops along with some new ones.
Where are the jobs: This workshop will help participants identify their interests, skills and also identify what skills employers are looking for. It will give ideas on how to apply for jobs, do job search and to identify barriers, as well as how to find jobs and network.
Ace Your Interview: Regardless of whether or not you’ve ever had to do an interview, when you leave this workshop you will feel better prepared for your next one. This session is informal and flexible which means that it can be adjusted to participant’s needs.
Exploring the Career Highway: This workshop addresses all of the areas you need to consider while you are discovering the right career path for you. We will also discuss how following a new path will change your life and help you deal with those changes.

This workshop is aimed at those who do not have an email address and aren’t sure how to get one, or those who would like to learn more about communicating via email. Upon completion participants will have an email address and be able to send and open emails safely (email scam/virus precautions), create contact lists and attach files to send with emails.

Identity theft is becoming a common occurance now. Come to this information session to learn how to safe guard yourself against identity theft, and to find out how at risk you are.
