Digby Area Board of Trade 2nd Annual Tartan Classic Charity Golf Tournament

In Support of DALA (Digby Area Learning Association)

At the Digby Pines Golf Course on Friday, June 26th 

Come dressed in kilt * or Tartan attire Scramble Format Tournament with Tee times starting at 8:00 am, Lunch at 2:00 pm  

Tickets are $75.00 per person for members of the Digby Course

$125.00 per person for non-members.

Includes round of golf, shared power cart, lunch and prizes following the tournament

Charitable Donation Tax Receipt for $25.00 per ticket , or $100 per team, provided by Digby & Area Learning Association (DALA)

 Accommodations available at the Digby Pines Tartan Classic Package ~ June 25 & 26

Accommodation & full buffet breakfast $67.50 per person double occupancy or $125 single

Help for unemployed in Digby.

Unemployed workers facing barriers to employment in Digby and Annapolis counties will be getting some help. The Digby Area Learning Association will receive $940,000 in federal assistance. The money comes from the Canada Employment Assistance Services Program. This project, according to West Nova MP Greg Kerr, will help over a thousand unemployed workers develop skills, knowledge and experience to find and keep jobs. Established nearly 20 years ago, the Digby Area Learning Association promotes lifelong learning opportunities.
