About the Organizations of DALA:

The Digby Area Learning Association is the parent organization that oversees the Career Resource Centre and its projects, the Digby Community Education Centre and the Learning Grove Childcare Centre. To find out more about DALA, please browse the information available from the links on the left.

The Career Resource Centre is involved in everything from job search assistance to career counselling to skills development.
We put on workshops, assist with résumé and cover letter writing and provide access to all kinds of job search tools.  Just click on CRC at the top of the page to check out our many service offerings.

The Learning Grove Childcare Centre is a childcare provider for Digby and surrounding areas.  We are fully licensed and adhere to all regulations of the Department of Community Services and the Department of Health.  We have childcare programs for toddler and pre-school aged children, as well as an after-school program.  Just click on LGCC at the top of the page to check out our programs and find out more information.

The Digby Community Education Centre is a facility that provides adult education and literacy skills for Digby and surrounding areas residents.  The programs include High School diplomas, GED preparation and literacy upgrading.  To review the programs available through DCEC, just click on the DCEC logo.
